I've been using this extension for years, but recently most of the features don't work. I can't right click videos to change volume most of the time, the resolution selector doesn't work anymore, just about the only things that I've noticed work are the themes and the buttons at the bottom that I hardly use. Not worth having the extension installed anymore if the current features I use don't work.

Used to be one of the best extensions for YouTube but not anymore. Time to move on and find something else that actually works.

This extension caused Garuda Linux to HARD CRASH in my case.
I did NOTHING 'out-of-the-ordinary' in terms of usage: no scripts, no OTHER extensions which could possibly clash with it... nothing that I hadn't done previously on WINDOWS or Linux Mint....
and it BLACK SCREENED MY PC. not happy right now is an UNDERSTATEMENT!

Broken garbage that can't respect its own settings.

1. Please add an optional way to restore the old YouTube look (old player, thumbnails, square icons, etc.).

2. Hiding Shorts works great, but there should also be options to hide other parts of YouTube like the sidebar and home feed/page.

For years this extension worked very good. Lately or a week now, its working in part. I can control the volume with the mouse, but the Video player Control disappeared. I tried uninstalling, re-installing, clear cache, reinstall firefox and then redo everything, still the issue the is same. Basic features disappeared or are not working. I read reviews here, some comments talk about this but not similar issues.

There needs to be a way to turn off the annoying popup that come up on every opened youtube tab when ever there is a update, in most cases what ever was changed in a update will go unnoticed or isn't a YOU MUST UPDATE type update so there isn't a need for the popups telling users to refresh the page
Update just add a setting to disable the popups you moron because your goal clearly is to annoy users by not adding a way to disable them your whole "Messages telling you to refresh YouTube tabs are displayed for good reasons, and if you knew more about an extension's lifecycle, and what happens when it gets updated by the browser, you wouldn't waste your time complaining for something that is inevitable." is bs because one you can't say it's for good reasons but then not actually say what those reasons are 2 saying "if you knew more about an extension's lifecycle, and what happens when it gets updated by the browser, you wouldn't waste your time complaining for something that is inevitable." is just rude because all you're doing is telling people with actual criticism to not waste their time and again these are not YOU NEED TO KNOW UPDATES as barely anything actually changes it's mostly just bug fixes and if you ever do add something new users would almost always find out about simply by using the addon, so i'm changing my rating from 4 stars to one and removing this addon becauces you clearly are trying to annoy people with these popups and bs responses

Used to be the best, now it's abandoned. Hasn't been updated since 2024, doesn't work at all nowadays. Don't waste your time.

Can you please update this? Many features are missing/broken compared to the chrome version. I don't understand why the Firefox version has been neglected for 8+ months.

Features of this add-on are not working correctly on Firefox.

- "Place controls within the video player"
- "Control the volume level with the mouse wheel when hovering over the video player with the mouse cursor"

Refreshing the page, clearing cookies/cache doesn't fix this.
Sometimes they randomly work as intended but in most cases they don't.
This add-on needs to be updated.

Use to be a required addon for me, but it just doesnt work 99% of the time now. That and it's been abandoned on here. :(

The same chrome extension has more options. What a shame.

dev stopped updating the firefox version and it has been slowly breaking, yet frequently updates the chrome version. will change my review whenever the dev decides to update

更にYouTubeが新UIになり、当然そちらの対応もされておらず大変見苦しいので代替のアドオンを探した方がいいでしょう。

Przestał działać. Zamiast video odtwarza tylko dźwięk. Po wyłączeniu wtyczki film odtwarza się normalnie. Konieczna aktualizacja wtyczki!!!
