This tool is the best tool I have ever used for storing passwords and sharing them with my team over the internet. Its also great for fast form filling and securely storing banking details.

Extension stopped working in the last 6+ weeks. It used to be great, but the FIREFOX extension NO LONGER WORKS. The dialog windows that pop up from the menu bar extension icon open TOO LARGE to allow clicking on the dialog answers. The install when done does NOT open to your LastPass vault. I really want to use Firefox, but this is driving me into using EDGE and CHROME instead.

Unfortunately with a FireFox refresh this is STILL an issue 3 years later. If I could post a screen shot you would see that on a standard 24 inch monitor the "decline" and "accept" buttons are STILL not visible when you click the LastPass extension icon the first time. On a 20 inch monitor, I can barely see the "decline" button... I will have to change my monitor resolution and see if I can access the buttons. Sloppy coding assuming users will all have the same resolution and font sizes on their browser.. pop-out window for the extension should be wider than it is deep in order to actually SEE the "decline"/"accept" permissions buttons regardless of resolution or browser font sizes.

Hacked 2 times in 1 year? You'd be insane using LastPass.

LastPass have had 7 security incidents in the past 10 years and they have leaked all customers vaults in the latest (Dec 2022). They are no longer trustworthy and not safe to use.

It hacked two times only this year, so it is not safe anymore to use !!

They allowed my entire vault to be stolen and withheld that information. The ultimate failure for a password manager. They should close the business.

* the plugin conflicts with GitHub PR review interface
* cannot use lastpass federated login without this plugin!
* I think there are more but these are just what pop up in my head right away

Giant security breaches that the company did not tell users.

I have been using LastPass for some time now, but from where I sit it just gets worse and worse when it comes to functioning efficiently. I have written many complaints to LastPass over the years but nothing ever gets 100% resolved. I continue to have problems. One example is when they request a new password for my primary email address despite the fact that I created a brand new password one month ago!

I just read the following, "The LastPass breach relied on previously stolen information that provided access to secondary backup storage thanks to credentials and information stolen in attacks targeting individual employees. It was a custom attack and couldn’t be used against other firms. And LastPass’s reliance on a single master password also puts its users’ data at unique risk." Is that statement supposed to make me feel better about using LastPass? NO!

My husband has always used a PC and has no problems. I have always used a Mac and have continually had problems. This is nothing new to me. I have found many websites definitely favor PC users over those who use Macs.

In this day and age of the 21st Century you would think that this kind of favoritism would no longer exist, but it does ... exist ... and I, for one, am sick of it.

There should not be this kind of natural, artificial, or social selection - "a system or theory based on the doctrine of natural, artificial, or social selection" - that demonstrates that PCs are better or more worthy than Macs. That shows us the doctrine of natural, artificial, or social selection, aka social Darwinism.

So, do I leave or do I stay? Will LastPass clean up it's act so it works smoothly for both PC and Mac users alike ... or not? The ball is definitely in your park, LastPass. What are you going to do?
