This extension hasn't been working at all for a few months now and, at the time of writing, hasn't been updated since April 2026. At the moment I'd consider it abandoned and I would not recommend it.

Please make a setting to fix the original language to "Auto detect" in the page translation.

The reason is, when the source language(that is detected language) and the target language are the same, the page cannot be translated. In this case, it becomes a problem when multiple languages are mixed in the source language. At this time, you must manually change the original language to "Auto detect" for translation.

Because of this inconvenience, I am not using this add-on.

example web page is youtube. If the comments on YouTube are in a foreign language, they cannot be translated. "TWP - Translate Web Pages" addon don't have this problem.
