When exporting markdown, I'll add newlines to any highlight that is not a heading or list item in the next update.

- Awesome works on android! the export highlights functionality is great however it lacks additional new lines between each extracted text. So what happens is every comment is compressed to "one list" without linebreaks in between distiguishing them from each other. Would be much much better if there were!

When exporting markdown, I'll add newlines to any highlight that is not a heading or list item in the next update. - doesnt work. when i select text, nothing comes up to allow me to highlight my selection. i tried right clicking - i can see the option to run my other extensions, but this one doesnt show up. i tried turning on auto highlighting to try, but also nothing highlights.
EDIT
nevermind, started working after i restarted my computer and restarted firefox. but not five stars because i still have the same issue for pdfs, which is one of the main use i want out of this extension, and I got this extension after seeing someone else in the reviews be able to use it for pdfs.개발자 답글
25일 전에 게시됨Edit: great to hear that it works now and thanks for updating the review. PDFs are currently not supported, unfortunately.
I'm sorry to hear that the extension doesn't work for you an. I'd really like to understand the cause to further improve the extension.
If you'd like to, please reach out (contact@mark-my-word.app).
A few interesting data points would be:
1) Which version of Firefox are you using
2) Which other extensions are you running alongside Mark my Word?
3) Are any errors or warnings in the console (press F12 and check the "Console" tab)? - 5점 만점에 5점AzulmArinO 님, 3달 전
- Very efficient tool works great on mobile too, good Histre replacement, and I own my datas !
I noticed that Heightlights are well saved with SinglePage (not the case with Histre)
Md export is a must ! The mobile UI is very light, no lag here..
Whaou sync between devices is just amazing !
How/where to donate ?

- Perhaps with Firefox/Waterfox on Windows desktop it works fine. But with Firefox on Android it doesn't work most of the time.
When I mark text of a website the toolbar should appear below the marked text. But it doesn't. It appeared 2 times for me. The second time I even could mark and unmark text and it would appear every time. That was yesterday.
Today I just tested it again and nothing happened. It's really not reliable.개발자 답글
일 년 전에 게시됨Hi Reiner,
thanks for taking the time to write a review. I'm sorry the extension doesn't work reliably for you!
To better understand the issue, would you mind providing some additional information?
It would be great to know about
- example websites where the toolbar did not appear for you reliably,
- if there are any other plugins you are using (which might potentially conflict),
- and the version of your firefox browser.
Feel free to share the information here or reach out via email to contact@mark-my-word.app.
Thanks for your help! - 5점 만점에 5점Firefox 사용자 18836542 님, 일 년 전Wonderful add-on! Thank you so much! Could you please also allow the users to customize the output? (For example, allow the users to use no # symbol or several # before the link when it is pasted etc.).

- This is the ONLY text highlighter I've found --ever-- that works the way it should! I tested it by the following: I had a URL in a pdf that I followed and then highlighted text. I changed tabs, went back to the original, then finally signed out of Firefox. Then, I went back to the pdf, opened the URL therein which opened in Firefox. Then I followed a link in that URL, which in turn opened another URL (new tab) with my highlighted texts. They were still there! This is amazing! Thank you for such a great add-on!
- This is exactly the web highlighter & annotator that I've been looking for.
I just hope we can get better light & dark theme which would sync with firefox/system soon.
The contrast between the highlight background & text also need to be higher, so that we clearly read the highlighted text, when it's active in the webpage.
Also hoping better organization of the highlights & annotations in "All" view. Right now it directly shows the url, which is not quite readable at first glace.
Thanks for working on this extension! - I love this extention. It's gonna make research a lot easier. Having the URL attached to the quote is brilliant. The only thing is add is the ability to add a custom title before the URL. Maybe add a drop down menu with a list of those titles on the page control panel so you can quickly orgainze the quotes. Ex title- thiamine, niacin, b6, B12... Then when in the all tab have it organized alphabetically and time... Or instead of a drop down a series of buttons programmed with a title, color coded or labeled in someway to identify the title.

2년 전에 게시됨Hi and thanks for taking the time to review the extension.
Labels and notes is definitely something I'll look into. Stay tuned :)
Edit: the latest version of the extension allows to add comments to highlights. I hope this already helps. Tags for highlights will follow in a later release. 개발자 답글

An option to toggle a highlight is a good idea and I'll definitely add such a functionality.
Edit: the latest version of the extension allows to show/hide individual highlights.
