    Works, it has a good settings page, so if you want it to only function on youtube music and not normal youtube, you can do that. haven't really had any issue with the extension at all, and i really wouldn't use youtube music without this extension, so 5 stars!

    Very nice module but recently it does not work anymore for youtube music but works like a charm in youtube. I'm using Zen browser, fork of firefox. When I activate the module, it freezes and I get these errors in the console:

    uncaught exception: TIMEOUT waiting for function(){const e=[".ytp-right-controls",".vjs-control-bar",".shaka-bottom-controls",".html5-player-chrome",".ypcs-control-buttons-right"];for(const t of e){const e=Array.from(document.querySelectorAll(t)).filter(e=>!s(e));if(e.length>0)return e[e.length-1]}return null}: 1108/t.waitFor/
    uncaught exception: TIMEOUT waiting for ()=>(0,c.getYouTubeTitleNode)(): 1108/t.waitFor/

    Thanks for your answer. Indeed the problem was not your extension. The error comes from the sponsorblock extension.
    I don't know why but the problem when activating your extension disappeared, I guess for good

    Thank you for taking the time to write a review. The problem you mention is not related to my extension. My extension does not have any function like this. Please, try to disable all the other installed extensions, refresh the page, and check if the problem persists.

    Very nice add-on, but I really wish it didn't reset all the settings every time it updates.

    Edit: This has been fixed, so I am bumping the score from 4 to 5.

    Edit: The issue has been fixed in the latest version of the extension.

    Can you please confirm that you have installed the latest version of the extension and Firefox? The previous version had a change that would fix this issue. Additionally, when you say "resets all settings" do you mean the settings in the Options page? Can you please send me an email with more details to try to fix this problem? I would really appreciate it!

    as per aug 28th 2025 it works as intended on windows 10. there's a catch tho, every time you restart firefox windows you have to "forget site" youtube then relogin. other than that it works as advertised

    Prevent loading/downloading unnecessary video when listening to music on youtube/youtube-music. Ideal for low bandwidth/limited quota internet situations

    Hey please make it possible to activate this App on one TaB and from that point on to have deactivated in all new tabs. Atm I have to deactivate for each new Tab which is Quite annoying.

    Thank you for the review! You can do that very easily. You can de-activate the extension for all the tabs (either from the Options page or the popup) and then you activate the extension only in one tab (using the option Current tab in the popup).

    The addon works beautifully. I think the default shortcut for activating it on current tab is ctrl+arrow up
