works great, since the change finally took effect today, ive been disliking every video i watch and posting this in the comments
"sorry but due to youtubes recent changes, EVERY video gets disliked, no offense, its a protest against the SHITTY change, not a sign i actually dislike your video. there is a temporary solution until youtube reverts the changes through returnyoutubedislike DOT com, an extension that returns the dislike button to its full glory."
i advise all who use this do something similar.

if possible maybe try setting up a sql database that keeps tracks of videos that get disliked, no identifible info, just the dislike info, so that if the workaround you found gets patched, you have a backup, and can switch it out if needed.

Just when you think YouTube couldn't get anymore stupid, they remove the ability to see dislikes... Thank GOD for this extension. I hope this will continue to work for a long time!

Love this, But how does it know what the dislikes are on new videos uploaded after the removal of dislike button?

A start rating system would be really cool, but i think thats asked too much for :)

It simply works, it does what it intends to do. Hence, easy 5 star rating. It would be nice to have the ability to change the colour of the likes and dislikes, but that would be a luxury. Also, the youtube overlords have just deployed this new "FeaTuRe" at the time of writing, so if you are reading this in the future, it might not work.

REQUEST: If you hover the mouse over the like/dislike bar, you get a "click cursor" instead of a normal triangle, which is a bug since there is nothing to click. Would be 6/5 if you could fix it! Even better if you could just copy the same style as the original.

Works like a charm ! I do hope that after the 13th of december, you will be able to find a solution to the EOL of the dislike API.

Also, is it possible to add a style option (I do prefer the previous greyscale style).
