Was a really great app up until a lot previously free features were quietly hidden behind a paywall.

As a software developer myself I get that one needs to make money at the end of the day, but the way this was handled is beyond shitty..

A lot of basic features are now unavailable, not just the nitty gritty customization features.

Use unhook or other alternatives or vibe code your own extension.

This should be default on all platforms. These controls help to preserve your time, mental health and enrich your life. Thank you!

Features that were free before are now locked behind a paywall, and the worst part about it is that the developer didn't bother to announce it. No changelog, no warning, no notice. Just a silent update that quietly turned a good app into a cash grab. Pulling free functionality out from under your users is a bait-and-switch, plain and simple. It's a shame, because the app was actually good even if it was AI, but this kind of greed ruins it. Uninstalling, and I'd advise anyone thinking of relying on this app to think twice and do the same.

basic shit that used to be free got paywalled with a subscription and ai sloppified beforehand, utter bullshit, avoid at all costs

Old features that used to be free are now locked behind a subscription.
There wouldn't be a problem if the developer would have paywalled new features or if it was a normal one time payment.

The main issue is the new subscription model.

I am mainly using this extension to hide shorts and to have sessions. So I was okay to pay to contribute , but now the session/schedule block feature does not seem to work, even behind the paywall...

Wow, just WOW. when did greed consume such an amazing idea. you could have paywalled new complex ai driven whatever features no one would have batten an eye and maybe some people would pay for them.
but to paywall plenty features that were once free?
do you really think more people will start paying for stuff that was free instead of just looking for something else!? well i guess whoever is in charge does, sickening.
