Sorry you had to perform extra steps to restore normal browser activity. Next time try running Firefox in safe mode first (firefox.exe -safe-mode).

Our TO-DO list with new features that users send to support and want them in AVD does not fit the screen. There is such term as "growth pain": sometimes we're making big changes to AVD to extend it and make new features possible. Inevitably there will be issues at first; version 4.10-4.12 is the largest change since 2017. No matter how well we test each version before release, there can be pitfalls we're unaware of unless we release the version to the wide public.

Please, perform reset of the extension at Settings - Reset, and let us know if you still encountering the issues.
