This is EXACTLY what I've been looking for. The customization options are perfect, for example:
- On the right-hand sidebar, I DO want to see recommended videos, but not playlists or live chat or fundraisers. Easy peasy.
- At the end of a video, I DON'T want to see promoted videos overlaid on the video I'm STILL WATCHING, but I do want to see some recommended videos after the video has ended. Works perfectly: 'Hide End Screen Cards' enabled, 'Hide End Screen Feed' disabled.

Easy to install, thirty seconds to customize. Just what you want in an extension like this.

Over the past 10 to 15 years, I've spent far too much time on YouTube.
For the past few months, Unhook has helped me use YouTube in a much more positive and intentional way, helping me to watch only the content that is truly useful to me.
I use it on all the browsers on my PC as well as on my mobile devices.

Works very well, and I'm surprised at how effective it has been against going down a YouTube rabbit hole.

Makes YouTube feel like it was designed for humans again instead of maximizing engagement. Surprisingly polished experience and the ability to replace the home screen with subscriptions is amazing.

It's more than ok!

I can't tell when a video ends! It just goes black and nothing, its a little weird. Not a big complaint, but it is weird that it just ends without an indicator.

Utterly fantastic for countering YouTube's enshittification, but sadly, keeps breaking YT in freshly-opened tabs in the latest build of Firefox. Happy to send a full bug report if I could find contact info anywhere.

Great extension to make YouTube less bloated, but like the previous person has said, it currently breaks video playback and freezes the browser.
