Currently does not block shorts in the homepage. I've double checked that all the settings are on, refreshing youtube, all that stuff, but still doesn't do that. It does, however, have other settings work (grid search and shorts in search results) so it may just be from a recent update to youtube/the extension that broke it.

Would love for it to work for shorts in the homepage, but at the moment, it doesn't do that properly.

EDIT: shorts now no longer show up on the homepage, and shorts now appear re-formatted as regular videos. shorts tab still appears though, but most issues have been fixed by now

Great extension, things mostly work, but I still get mixes on of recommendation and I can not get that blocking function to work.

i can still see youtube mixes even if the hide youtube mixes toggled on. still testing it now

Everyone works great, except mixes are no longer hidden.

Works great! I don't know if this would be possible to implement or if I should download a different extension for this (if so, please reply to this and tell me), but an option to hide the breaking news tab would be nice!

Not blocking mixes

This addon is a lifechanger. No more nonsense "recommended" in the search feature.

Only thing is that this is slow as hell on occasion. Takes a long time to search something after a while.

Neat little extension, the search results are much better without the recommended nonsense nobody asked for.
However, two things that could be improved crossed my mind:
1. The 'hide playlist' option. When hiding playlists is on and you filter for playlists, the extension enters an infinite loop. Would it be possible to make an if statement to check the applied filters?
2. Search in playlists function. Say I have a playlist open and want to search for a specific video within the playlist, would that be possible to make? Ctrl+F is limited to what is currently loaded on the page...

Give an option to disabled bold channel names.
