This addon has been abandoned for three years now. Reporting broken websites doesn't work. The original author told me he sold the addon to the company behind Symantec and other anti-viruses.

I've switched to "I still don't care about cookies" by Guus, which is a maintained community fork. So long, Gen Digital, and thanks for all the fish!

Been using this extension for a while and it works exactly as expected. No issues at all, highly recommended.

Iwanted to write to the author, that there is a site that shows cookies with this addon turned on and i got this:

I'm having issues on a site that will not show videos unless you accept cookies. And so I tried this addon, and it didn't work with it enabled. It didn't accept cookies. But when I disabled the addon (I had previously accepted cookies there), and so I had to remove the addon as it didn't do its job!

There are issues with some websites. The cookie monit is visually removed, but there's still a layer that blocks me from scrolling and clicking on the whole website.

Dont work on nature. For blocking cookie notices, is better ublock origin with their cookie notice list.

Many users became wary of their data being handled by a large antivirus/security company, leading to distrust. This prompted the development of alternative, community-driven versions (forks) like "I Still Don't Care About Cookies," available on GitHub and browser stores, to ensure transparency and user control. Users concerned about the acquisition often turn to the open-source forks for a more community-backed solution.

Used to be a very useful extension coupled with another extension that delete the cookies as soon as I leave a website. However in the past few month I noticed a lot of broken website on Firefox until I realized the issue was this extension...I had to remove it...I'm annoyed to see the banners back but at least I can browse properly.

This often doesn't work and reporting cookies banners leads to page with database error. Use add-on "I still don't care about cookies" by Guus instead!
