    just what I needed plus the design is great—I love the choice to keep the album art blurred with larger window sizes. It's super flexible which I wish itunes' mini player was. thank you!

    Being able to use the keyboard to navigate to previous or next songs is really nice.

    By the way, if the developer is reading this, could you explain why you named it "Spopupfy"?

    Hi there, thanks for the kind words!

    As for the name, it's pretty silly-sounding, but it's just a combination of "Spotify" and "pop-up [window]".

    Also, the keyboard feature is just provided by Firefox, I can't take credit for it!

    It is perfect!! all I wanted to control Web Spotify. I recommend to combine with PowerToys > Always on Top, is a bliss <3

    works. best solution for free lightweight spotify on linux <3, dont know if this is possible to fix but the player could have an always on top toggle so that we can use media keys for background use when using the entire screen.

    It was the initial plan, but unfortunately there doesn't seem to be a way to toggle always-on-top from within Firefox.
    I'm fairly certain you can achieve this easily in Linux, but not sure if it would help with media keys if it isn't the active window. The media keys work globally for Firefox on windows since a year or two ago, however.

    Literally does exactly what it should do, flawlessly.

    Thank you so much for creating this workaround! I have NO idea why Spotify would have removed the mini-player, but this brings it back and better than ever!

    From what I can deduce, they made an "improved" version that uses something like the picture-in-picture API, which is not available on Firefox at the moment.

    Works just as displayed. I do wish there was a button for shuffle and loop. Also it would be nice if it stayed on top of my screen when I click off of it.

    Thanks for the review!

    I'll try to find a way to add back the shuffle and loop buttons without it getting too cluttered. For the time being, you can always resize the window a bit to get the full interface back momentarily.

    As for the window staying on top, it's something that seems impossible with a Firefox add-on at the moment, unfortunately.
