от CatboyMothman, 2 года назадA few years ago, this add-on was reliably able to mark transphobes. These days, it's largely just spam, at least on the websites I use. On Wikipedia, it amounts to little more than a "No shit, Sherlock" (Wow, the Catholic Church is transphobic? I never woulda guessed). On tumblr, it has become a tool of the people who seek to divide the trans community. People who speak about issues faced by the intersex community, nonbinary community, or trans masculine community can get marked red despite saying nothing that is against trans people. This tool is now completely ineffective, and I cannot trust either the green or the red markings.
Edit: I dropped my review from 2 stars to 1 star. The reason is based on the comment the developer has been leaving on many complaints similar to mine. "Transmasculine, intersex and xenogender people are welcome. Just don't use "AFAB trans woman", as it forces trans women to use "AMAB" or "male", aligning your goal with that of TERFs." Transmasculine, intersex, and xenogender people are actively telling you that we are being made to feel UNWELCOME! All you're doing is saying "Well, you COULD come to this place where slurs against you are acceptable, where terms like 'theyfab' 'itfab' and 'afag' aren't enough to get you kicked out. You COULD come to this place where discussing your unique oppressions like your erasure from history and news reports and culture gets you marked as Bad. It's welcoming to you!"
It. Is. Not. Welcoming. We are not welcome to use this extension if we want to talk about our issues. If trans men just sit there and look pretty, then we're welcome. Wonder where we've heard that...

- Оценено на 2 из 5от dreadful, 6 дней назадi don't care about tmras and transmisogynists whinging about how they're being bullied for spreading vile bs abt trans women, but i have seen actual 4tranners get marked green, including a dedicated 4tran subreddit. come the fuck on. you wouldn't call an edtwt user a feminist for saying moid.
it's just become a discourse tool now, which is functionally useless for measuring what is and is not actually unsafe for trans people (esp women) to be around. - Оценено на 1 из 5от Jak, 7 дней назад

Also like. a lot of black trans people are marked red for no reason??? Racist and transphobic, avoid at all costs. If you need to check if a page or blog is transphobic, just do the work yourself.
- Оценено на 5 из 5от Luna, 10 дней назадy'all the rating are community made if someone who is a trans ally is marked red it's because people using the extension marked it as red for some reason
- Оценено на 4 из 5от bunglung, 11 дней назадpretty good. ive been using it for a while and has been largely accurate. im not sure the specifics of the process. but as of late it seems false negatives within the system have been circulating just for people combating transmisogyny. one thing that would help is when somebody is marked red or green (though it would benefit red marks the most) it gives a reason why they were marked such and a link/screenshot to where the person expressed a belief which way. don't use it without checking, especially for red marks, but it can help bring your attention to whether or not a person might be transphobic
- Оценено на 5 из 5от Galius, 13 дней назадalright I gotta swallow my pride and say that when I made my last review, I was duped. I was poorly informed by the reviews, and after using the plugin and better understanding the actual conversation around the relevant issues, I'm changing my 1 star review to a 5 star review.
Effective plugin, and it feels nice to see green names going around. Recommended if you think it would help you. - Оценено на 2 из 5от Пользователь Firefox 20037153, 14 дней назадI looked at the guidelines when wondering why so many pro-transgender pages are marked red and it sounds like using assigned-gender-at-birth language is being encouraged as "do not mark trans-friendly" due to transmisogyny. Julia Serrano's article on what transmisogyny is does use that language. So am I supposed to mark Julia Serrano as anti-trans??? I'm supposed to flag the woman who coined the term "transmisogyny" as being violently transphobic? That sounds rather counterproductive! Can the developer explain why this is supposed to make sense? Are people flagging others just to see them turn red? Did anti-trans people raid the app, and the mods just can't keep up?
- Оценено на 1 из 5от mina, 15 дней назадBeen noticing a very weird pattern of trans people of color (regardless whether they're ftm, mtf or enby) or people who point out racism within trans community being marked as red. Do not use.

- Оценено на 2 из 5от woob, 17 дней назадWas using this for years to avoid dealing with blatant transphobes but now half the markers are over intracommunity squabbles so it's become practically useless for that purpose. trans woman btw.

I'd like the ability to mark stuff on mobile firefox too, though. Or at least to be able to manually import an override list, or something along those lines.
