We’re continuously surprised by the reviews as they seem disingenuous. From reviews claiming that this is malware (while it’s open source and can easily be checked!) to reviews and explicitly promoting other extensions.

We don’t have a way to delete reviews; we can flag them for Mozilla’s review, and they delete reviews that violate their policies.

Huh? We’re continuously surprised by the reviews as they seem disingenuous and sometimes promoting other extensions. This extension is open source; you can easily check that the code here and the code on our GitHub are the same, as well as review the code itself; what makes you say it’s malware?

Small amounts of usage don’t require an account or any subscription; we’re only asking for an api token when the usage is too high, as we want to prevent abuse.

A bug, not an intended behavior. We're investigating (thx to a user who reported this on GitHub issues).

Starting with version 3.2.4 (it's live now! you can update the extension in Extensions -> Settings -> Check for Updates), audio should not be muted on any websites, and audio recording should work perfectly almost everywhere, including basically all video players.

Definitely wasn't the case of abandoning the extension or using it for advertising a service; it's just incredibly tricky to get audio recording working on Firefox, as the browser doesn't support direct audio capture from the tab. Took us hundreds of lines of fairly complicated code.)
