Works perfectly since years. Tip for those who have problems: Update your instance

ubuntuのFirefoxでパスキーを利用するには必須の拡張機能。
また、ubuntu, WindowsそれぞれのFirefox, Chrome, Operaを使っている私にはどの端末のブラウザをつかってもパスキーやパスワードが同期されていることが素晴らしい。

Same here. Not workling with self-hosted vaultwarden. The solution ist simple: update your server.

If you host Vaultwarden yourself and Bitwarden version 2026.7.0 broke your sync with Vault, you need to update Vaultwarden to at least version 1.36.0, preferably the latest.

For all those using Vaultwarden, you need to update your Vaultwarden server, and the extension will sync up again. -July 26, 2026.

To those come here for a broken update: I updated vaultwarden to 1.37.0 and resynced it's working now.

Good Passwordmanager

The extension not working on the newest version is not a problem with bitwarden itself but with the selfhosted vault.

So nothing to complain, great extension and so grateful that selfhosted is supported.
