This last update stopped the add-on on FF56 !!!

I already did...thank you Shivanand Sharma for this wonderful add-on and for your your prompt answer

You can install older version from https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/colorfultabs/versions/31.2.3 and disable updates to the addon.
