I used windows and cold turkey, but i recently switched to Linux becasue of how much better it is. I love how similar Digital Zen is it. However it would be good to have functionality to allow certain YouTube channels, while blocking the rest. Other than that it helps me lock in for my studys from morning till evening without wasting time doing what i shouldnt

I am using it for helping with my youtube addiction while working and then mindlessly watching content before sleep and it affecting the sleep schedule

So far best (and hardest to cheat) blocker I used on Linux Mint! You do need the subcription but it's a fair price.

Using Focus mode to keep my scope to a whitelisted websites. And Lock modes like 128 char lock, which acts as enough friction not to let me wander distracted

It helps me write and study. I generally use the Focus Mode to keep me off Reddit and Steam. The support team is also very helpful

It helps me to focus and to only have access to the utility of the computer when I absolutely need it.

I really struggle to limit my screen time, mostly with streaming services and gaming, to an extent, that negatively impacts my studies and social life. I used other blockers before, but after I switched to linux, I needed to find a new one, as my old blockers didn't support linux. Honestly DigitalZen has by far the best UI and setup from all the apps I tried before, by far! I love the across device plattform synch, suggestions and generally how easy it is to configure my blockers. Keep it up, can't wait for the mobile versions to get released.

HELPS SOOO MUCH WITH MY CONSTANT HABIT OF CHECKING MESSAGES ONCE AN ASSIGNMENT MAKES ME FEEL CHALLENGED, etc for other distractions. I realize now the pattern of compulsive self-induced distraction and was able to finally save classes I almost failed out of and get As!!!
