    I paid for the Pro version. After 55 downloads, the add-on tells me to upgrade to Pro. Support emails are not being answered!
    Not recommended anymore – unfortunately...

    Installed version 24.1 Does not work. "Network error."
    Creates a 160 byte MP4. Downloads nothing.

    Refresh the page and try again, on some occasions Youtube flags your IP and limits requests.

    This extension has worked well for me and caused no problems. Downloading videos should be as easy as downloading pictures, but YouTube, a loathsome organization, does everything in its power to prevent us from doing so. Thanks to Dishita for taking the time to wade through all their javascript (which hides the location of videos to prevent their downloading) to make these videos downloadable to the average user.

    Tried several video's downloading in all formats, every one was zero length, just a title, no actual data/video

    for many years this worked better than anything, it no longer works at all even on simple videos on simple web sites, it is TOTALLY NONFUNCTIONAL. it has zero ability now. like the goggles, it does nothing (simpsons inside joke).

    It's a robust extension that should be usable forever after a single worked, but sometimes (perhaps for videos longer than 5 minutes), downloaded content can lose a segment of its beginning.

    this extension used to work pretty well, it always used to have the rigth format that works well with vegas pro, but now it corrupts the files every single time, at least downgrade the extension from the version that worked

    now is 2026.02. this addon can not download youtube videos anymore.

    Hi Hellxz! You're right that downloading was broken in February 2026 — YouTube made an algorithm change that affected the addon. We've now released version 24.1, which fixes the download issue.     The last patch fixed the corrupted file bug.

    downloads two files, no video no audio. stay away.
