от PleaseStandBy, 9 лет назадI am also coming from 1 of my 2 favorite add-ons that I just could not do without... and that would be 'Session Manager'. (If you're wondering what the other one is, it's 'Tree Style Tabs' ;) ) All of us have been eagerly awaiting all of our favorite add-ons to port on over to FF Quantom and that being said, it's been a little bit later and they have made great progress with the exception of a few GOOD ones. Notably "Classic Theme Restorer'. I love customizing Firefox. Hell sometimes I just do it for fun much like how you would spend time doing a puzzle or decorating a home lmao. Anyway...
THIS session manager type extension is the best I've found compatible with Quantom. Sure it lacks all of the EXCELLENT and plentiful options... but when it comes down to it, all I REALLY need it for is exactly what it does: Save all of your windows and tabs AND loads them properly, insanely useful sometimes when you have to restart or something and pick up where you left off. On the other hand I do like the simplicity and ease of use it offer.
ALSO, to the anonymous user that commented a few hours before me - I was also missing the options of tabs loading / refreshing/ bogging down your Internet connection while in the background loading your 50+ tabs lol I am on DSL so it very much helps me browser faster and ONLY LOAD TABS when you want to switch to it and NOT loading them while they are not in focus and the primary window you are working in. I found 2 extensions that I just installed minutes ago after searching a long time and wanted to share it with you since you were asking about the subject:
1. Load on Select - Loads tabs opened in background only when selecting them.= https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/carregar-ao-selecionar/?src=api
2. Tab Suspender (memory saver) - Automatically suspend (hibernate) inactive tabs to free up system resources & you can define a custom time-period for inactive tabs to go to hibernate state and hence do no use memory or any kind of resources at all = https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/tab-suspender-tab-unloader/
Anyway, keep up the good work guys and I hope this information helps someone and saves on the headache of the searching, trial, and error. :D

It used to be a great extension, but now the developer is intentionally disabling core features like Autosave to blackmail users for donations. Using emotional manipulation and breaking the app's functionality to demand money is unacceptable. We can easily live without this addon and we are moving to better, more reliable alternatives. - So it quietly installed itself on my address bar, so i started out hunting it down. My double zoom setting may be why the horizontal placement on the address bar might cause the pane to be too narrow, and text/icons on the left or right might be cut off. Placed in one location on the left, the ↗ to open the pane in its own tab is totally hidden, which is unfortunate bc the 'Open in own tab' setting doesn't work/persist. I could only force a save every 5 or 6 clicks on the very hard to identify 'Save Floppy Disk' grayed-out icon that most young adults might not be able to identify. But the Saves seem good, and the setting to save only the URLs seems really clean; is this maybe starting too clean? The Export function surely could have saved, using the session name, the session data to the Downloads folder rather than make us copy, paste, and save to an external program. It has a nice session editing function, though why would anyone need it, and after expanding the session row (and maybe having to scroll down), there's two-six buttons, that i have no idea what it is they do. But, it's a good add-on I think, if someone maintains it (like storing separate sessions in files in the Downloads folder, like it does the backup file(s?), instead of filling the bookmarks file. This add-on needs work now, so I won't be adding this to my new-used, speedy laptop, unless i come back and check out the auto-snapshots, to see if they're better than other add-on's auto-save feature. I don't think that comes from the original author and I'm worried the addon was hacked and is now used for Crypto scam. Deinstalled it and can only suggest others to do the same.

And yes, INSTANT revert to 2020.9.0 thanks to Mozilla.

I did not understand this phrase. - Оценено на 3 из 5от Пользователь Firefox 13753333, 5 лет назадI really love this plugin, but it causes a lot of problems with Firefox (I keep FF updated, use Mac). Causes FF to hang, take forever to start up. Problems disappear when I disable the plugin. If it weren't for those probs, I'd give it five stars.
