If the Reddit post is just text the redirect works fine, if the Reddit post has ANY kind of multi-media (picture, video) the redirect to old.reddit is ignored. That's like 50% of the posts on Reddit. This extension is not really working now. I'm using Firefox browser.

it seems to be on page that are translated, but i'm not sure and anyway i can't fix it.
i found out that using a simple userscript is much more efficient. just as before. there are many such scripts available on github, just search "old reddit redirect userscript" and click first result.Ответ разработчика

размещено год назадThis is almost always caused by having other extensions that also intercept network requests. Try disabling all of your other extensions and it should work.

In what way is it not working? Some users recently seem confuses by the fact that subreddits on Old Reddit can still have custom stylesheets and so can vary in how they look. You can turn these off in your user preferences in Reddit itself.
Some other users seem confused by the fact that there are now 3 major Reddit designs. If you run a google search for content on reddit, clicking on a result will open a new tab that redirects to the new reddit layout. The url does contain "old.reddit" but its completely ineffective.

размещено 2 года назадEdit - user was confused by the fact that subreddits on Old Reddit can have custom stylesheets. Extension is working as expected.

I have never seen this happen and have no way of investigating this and fixing it if it's a real bug if I don't have a bug report where you can let me know what browser version, OS, other extensions you have etc.

Why on earth do all my Reddit links now redirect behind the scenes to https://old.reddit.com/r/funny/comments/media/nice_hat/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fi.redd.it%2Fond2117tbwgb1.jpg instead of where the should land. The hover text in the bottom left for the URL even displays the correct URL, but having this extension enabled redirects me to the aforementioend "Nice_hat" link.

размещено 3 года назадThis is due to a strange redirect that is being performed on Reddit's end. A fix has been made in the extension to avoid this happening and should reach users as version 1.7.2 whenever it makes it through the approval system.
