👍 IMO it is not far from being the best choice among browser password manager extensions.

💡It needs to fix some reported low severity issues

Proton Pass setup and getting the Pass Icon to display is confusing, despite it being an "Ultimate" package... assumed all Proton panels, Icons and features would automatically load initially and subsequently "ready to go."
Though the online user-manual is often very lengthy for each feature, clarity is lacking. Approximately 20-screen scrolls in an attempt to explain how to "add alias" e-mail names.

Easy to use. interface is nice

Just started today with this and so far so good. Has been user friendly for this non-tech oriented human. Really grateful for this service.

Coming from Bitwarden, Proton Pass is actually really good. Some features are still missing, but the regular addition of new features means they'll soon be here, and the overall UI and user experiences are better in my opinion. Many thanks to the Proton team :)

I have very much enjoyed using your products since last year and I'm still in the process of moving over. The only thing I'd like is for you to solidify the way Proton Pass is discovering 2FA pages as well as login fields as they sometimes aren't working. This is a hassle for elderly people.

usability could be better (missing shortcuts). Buggy, sometimes the correct credentials do not appear.

I really like the idea of this, but unfortunately it is very user unfriendly. The Pass monitor suggests that I change insecure passwords on websites, but the extension itself prevents me from doing it. It will save log-ins that I had already created myself, but there is no way to change and improve them. In fact, with the 3 fields to fill out (old password, new password and verify new password), the extension makes it impossible. It has been a frustrating experience trying to make ProtonPass do what it should do. Repeatedly trying to get help on Proton's subreddit did not bear fruit.
I have been a paying Proton customer for years, but ProtonPass is a time-consuming disappointment.

Update: Specifically paypal.com and ebay have been impossible. I have tried a number of times over the past months without success. Another issue is that paypal has very specific limitations as to what is accepted in terms of a password (which characters, symbols, password length, etc). Per my experience, and after a lot of time attempting, this cannot be created by ProtonPass.

Update: Passmail does not get accepted on all platforms/sites when opening new accounts.

It would be perfect with 2 more things:
1. Offline support (when there's no internet connection I cannot log into e.g. a router interface)
2. Keyboard shortcuts - e.g. Cmd + Shift + L, similarly to what competitors have.
