Basically works perfectly. Highly recommend but you may have to fiddle with your system proxy settings if they're not set to auto detect

I have allowed the permission for ProtonVPN to manage the setting so I don't know how it can be wrong. If I take away the permission it doesn't allow it to connect. Basically it looks like the thing connects and then breaks the Proxy settings to not use the tunnel."

I have Proton’s most advanced plan, including their full suite of services and the VPN. I’ve been using it for over a month and it works well. It does exactly what I expect from it.

Advice for those using Proton VPN on PC:
A small trick if you can protect more than one device with Proton. Exclude the browser from the software and let the extension handle the VPN. Your usage will be more flexible that way.
