This used to be a great addon but my experience has gotten worse over time. It doesn't detect the streams more and more frequently and there are more and more failed downloads. I use Firefox on Linux. I just use this addon because I can't find a better one that supports my favorite sites.

Functions as advertised. I especially like the capacity to save different formats and resolutions. A nice recent feature is that the video titles are preserved in the saved file names. I also use it to extract audio (music) from videos.

Works on tons of different websites. Downloads are quick and easy. My only complaint is that is has occasional glitches where it fails to download the full video, but those glitches are rare.
