To block channel "Creators Tutorials" you must view one of their videos. Then click on the avatar/name which is on the left side of the screen, just below the actual video. That takes you to what I call their channel home page. For the this example, the url is:
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC2e8r3D4hXZWVhkFJGpL7QQ
So the string to enter into the channel blocker input box is: "UC2e8r3D4hXZWVhkFJGpL7QQ", not "Creators Tutorials". After that you won't be able to find their videos, unless you use a different browser.

PS: "Creators Tutorials" is just a channel I picked at random. No criticism intended. I just wanted to use a real example.

Blocking a channel can be done even easier:
All you have to do is to press the 'x'-Button which is placed next to the channel name.
To be even more precise, the instructions you gave do not work with our Add-on. Channels are blocked by their name, not by their id. Therefore, it is necessary to input the channel/user name, not the id of the channel/user (assuming you are blocking manually).
If you disagree with us, please contact us under yt-cleaner(at)protonmail(dot)com, so we can solve this mystery.

Apparently Youtube has changed its format slightly, which broke this Channel Blocker. I have deleted this addon permanently, since it appears the author abandoned it years ago. There's no sense running it when it doesn't work, and it doesn't look like the author cares at all anymore or will ever fix it, so there's no point in continuing to check back here. This addon is kaput. Time to look for something similar.

- Оценено на 5 из 5от tryplot, 10 месяцев назадwas good while it lasted, youtube seems to have updated the way the video titles and thumbnails are displayed so that the whole thing (thumbnail, title, channel name, ect.) are one object, that way they can add a colored box around it when you hover your mouse over it, and something about that has broken the functionality of this extension. I hope someone can make an updated version of this, as this was one of the main pillars that made youtube usable.

- It stopped working properly. Channels that you blocked still get shown & when you're already watching a video, you can't even block the videos that get recommended.
Hopefully this gets updated soon but the chances of that are almost non-existent with the last update being 3 years ago.
