av Firefox-användare 14587546, för 5 år sedanVery nice, would love to have a stop button on the control bar instead of depending on a shortcut, also a way to toggle DASH playback to fully buffer a video or a similar option
Edit: I guess I wasn't clear, when I said stop button, I didn't mean to simply pause a video, but to completely stop it from loading it, leaving it only with the thumbnail. While there is a shortcut that can be used thanks to the extension, the option to add it as a button on the control bar would be appreciated as well

Just wrote the long answer for you here: https://github.com/code4charity/YouTube-Extension/issues/581#issuecomment-1014280878 --- Please keep in mind it can be so frustrating, if not wrong to pressure us based on the one feature you grew fond of years ago, which we have not, which might be for a good reason. You might want to give 5 stars to support the cause rather than making it seem impossible for us to get 5 stars and get anywhere near as much visiblity as our work deserves. ----Browser extensions are unfortunately supposed/presented to be small/single-purpose. We still are avidly providing a 100 of the most wished and requested features without 100 times more success than easy extensions. This is many times more teditious than making our own site which would be fun/need no maintenance. We are volunteers. Youtube has a billion times more money than us. Many smiles!

But I have 2 features I'd like to ask for. 1 being a separate grid size options for shorts and for the side bar on video player. While I'm not doom scrolling shorts, I'm sub'd to a few channels that put out great quality shorts that'd I'd like to view. Shorts are just really large compared to normal thumbnails. It's a balancing issue choosing between smaller thumbnails vs huge shorts. 2, Sidebar thumbnails feel huge after installing this extension. If you could include an option to reduce thumbnail size and increase video title space, that'd be great. But 2 is honestly just personal preference. I'm using Zen Browser if that makes any difference.

- Betygsatt 1 av 5av tokumei, för en månad sedanWhile watching videos on YouTube, playback occasionally stops on its own. I am aware that the website has a feature that stops playback after 15 minutes of inactivity, but this seems to be a different issue.
In addition, videos sometimes stop playing when I switch to another browser tab. In those cases, playback resumes as soon as I return to the YouTube tab. The behavior is somewhat similar to the YouTube mobile app, where playback may stop when the screen or app is switched.
Both issues tend to occur near the beginning of a video rather than throughout the entire playback session.
I did not experience these problems while the add-on was disabled, so I suspect there may be some compatibility issue between the add-on and a web service or browser feature. - Betygsatt 5 av 5av felda9000, för en månad sedan

- Betygsatt 4 av 5av carrot, för 2 månader sedanreally enjoy this addon as youtube is often very frustrating for me to use without it. though, the theme setting seems to be a bit buggy for me, and often doesnt use the secondary color and text color at all, and just uses default. other than this, very useful and i'd recommend :)
