I didn't realise it was a twitch bug and not a 7tv bug that led to there being 2 7tv app versions. I think the new update is good.

IMO there should still be some temporary warning on the old plugin about this though, so users aren't confused as to why there's 2 plugins.

Twitch chat works fine now, but sadly highlighted replies won't if you have ffz extension enabled too, if you experience the same issue just turn off ffz (there's 7tv audio compressor if you need one)

The extension is great. Way better than the old one. The UI is way cleaner, everything works and it feels more responsive. Dragging the new one down, because the old one got broken by Twitch and accusing the devs of fraudulent marketing tactics is literal nonsense and outrage for the purpose of outrage.

It seems the only reason most people are mad and leaving 1 star reviews is because a twitch update broke the old 7tv which is also currently being fixed. Personally I like this version much better. I have not found anything that I find worse yet.

- UI looks better
- I like seeing latency
- In the old version if I tabbed into a new stream the 7tv emotes for the old stream I had open would stop working. This has been fixed.
