That said... This is a GREAT concept. But I immediately removed the extension upon realizing that I could not configure the time frame for hiding a tab beyond 8 hours. Man... I need DAYS. Perhaps even weeks. (My brain works how it works. It's not as though I get a choice in the matter. 😅)
We need to be able to manually define the time frame that we want. It would be even better if we could create preconfigured time frames that we can select based on the different purposes of the tabs. Basically a method of prioritization.
Otherwise... Aside from subtracting one star for that, I have subtracted another for time since last update. (Last updated on Jan 29, 2025.)
Come back and do some worthwhile updating some time when you get a chance. You have a major feature request here, basically. It'd be worth doing.
But I DO love that sense of humor in horror. 🤣

First off, I absolutely love your description! The references to tabs going into The Backrooms had me in laughter! But it also shows you're a Backrooms fan as well.
I've only just downloaded the extension and I already know it's going to be so useful. I usually end up opening another Firefox window and filling that with tabs until I'm bothered to go through them. Now I can just not worry about them all as they no-clip into the Backrooms of Firefox!
Also love the mono-yellow of the extension menu and "Backrooms". Just so perfect!
My only suggestion would be to allow for a longer period of time before tabs disappear. I know I can add protected tabs/URLs (which is absolutely necessary for me as I use my browser for my website and content research). But a lot of sites that I open, I need to have active for a few days, so I don't really need to permanently protect them - but I don't really want them to go to The Backrooms after a few hours either.
I also can't believe that this hasn't been installed more. I'm going to post it on some of my Backrooms socials and let other Backrooms fans know about it!
