The store lists "Required" access only to grok/X data and "Optional" data access to a lot of other websites, but when you actually install the extension, it requests "Required" access to all 17 domains, instead of only Grok/X. This makes me instantly distrust it, be careful.

Let me clarify that I don't have a problem with the extension having access to the data of domains, if I needed the feature, I have a problem with the extension INSTANTLY getting access to all that the second I click install, instead of requesting when needed.
While Firefox’s rendering of mandatory/optional permissions here is automated, it strictly depends on how the code is configured. Currently, those 17 domains are listed under the standard host_permissions array in your manifest, so Firefox is forced to treat them as mandatory, install-time requirements. For genuinely optional stuff like notion or whatever, and prevent Firefox from demanding blanket data access at installation, you just need to move those domains into the optional_host_permissions array and REQUEST THEM DYNAMICALLY at runtime using the permissions request() API, when and where they are needed.
I've bumped to 2-stars, but as far as I can go with this issue at install-time.
