Last.fm Needs to be more widely adopted. It's one example of data tracking that can be useful and nostalgic.

That said, I reduced to a 4/5 due to their recent switch to requiring more information. I get that it is likely just a dotted "i," but would have appreciated more information on my end first. =:xB

Decent, however I'd love an option to disable scrobbling from certain YT categories, for example why does it scrobble from Education videos, and idk how it determines what Podcasts are because it will scrobble from Podcasts in the education category, so I'm not sure how the "don't scrobble Podcasts" option work. Thankfully being able to stop scrobbling a particular channel works fine enough for me right now.

Does not work with Yandex Music and especially with Moya Volna.

I use this for Apple Music since they don't support a native scrobbler API like Spotify. But now that I found this I can scrobble Apple Music's web player, I don't need to use Spotify anymore just to scrobble music which is very nice. I like that the add-on lets me enable it for select websites too, very handy. Performance seems to be okay.

Why does the app suddenly require additional data collection permissions? Very sketchy imo.

A little shady how it updated to be "required" to collect browsing activity and data but the extension itself works fine so whatever. These days everyone's selling your data whenever you use a service so I guess that's just the way it is.

it works sometimes but it's own album recognition doesn't really work properly, at least on YT Music. Same thing goes for artist recognition, if there are multiple artists on a song it will scrobble the track as a single artist comprised of all their names. for example "Clipse, John Legend, Voices of Fire, Pusha T and Malice" when it should just be "Clipse". Pano Scrobbler on android solved this by adding a "Scrobble first artist" option, hoping something similar can be implemented here. Obviously this brings issues when the artist name has a comma but that's what bulk edits are for.

I never listen to music without scrobbling it to Last.fm and this extension was very helpful for that. It supports pretty much everything, including a lot of self-hosted services. Music info quality varies heavily between different sites — especially when scrobbling from something like YouTube or Soundcloud. So be ready to clear some stuff out if you listen to music there.

Does not work on Amazon Prime Music. Does not even recognise that site. So yeah extremely annoying and useless.

Works great in Chrome, but completely unreliable in Firefox. It constantly fails to scrobble tracks even though it properly identifies them and shows a green icon. I listened to a 13 track album on Youtube Music and it scrobbled only 4 tracks, even though it was identifying the other ones as well. On Bandcamp it also skips tracks at random, although not as often, it seems.

if you use youtube music this scrobbler is a useless piece of shit and does not fucking work, i scrobbled an entire album and none of it even scrobbled correctly you have to pause the track and then unpause it to re-edit the metadata each time otherwise it doesnt link it to an album, either just dont bother scrobbling anything at all or use spotify

Pretty good, but I don't think it can be paused, and that along with the fact it's scrobbling videos I set it not to be able to is quite annoying. Please consider implementing a pause so it doesn't keep trying to scrobble each chapter of a video!
