Thanks for your feedback! I made an update (v1.1), where I changed the color of the sidebar of the inactive window — now it's gray, about the same color as the top of the top bar. It's way less distracting than a blue background, but still allow you to immediately identify which windows are inactive. Try this update, I hope you'll be satisfied :)
