i've been really loving this add-on, thank you!! however, after a certain firefox update (can't remember when), the comment boxes are translucent instead of a solid color (like in the screenshots) and the text goes invisible on white screens, even if my opacity is set to 1. not sure what happened or if it's only happening to me lol

sorry to ask but can you elaborate on that by making an issue on the github repo? because firefox review doesn't let you upload images i can't envision what you're dealing with on your end

edit July 3rd: because my youtube theme broke, i also encounter the same problem that you're facing. I'll look into this

edit July 11th: my youtube theme works again so im not facing that problem, still i will continue to look into this

great addon! wish there was a button inside a player or somewhere on page to quickly enable/disable comments on video ^^

ty for using my add-on! even though it's rough around the edges (because it's WIP), i'll add your suggestion in the TODO list in the github repo's README

FYI, i might be unable to implement your suggestion until mid or late 2026 due to college entrance exam, so plz be patient (or you can temporarily set opacity to a certain number as a stopgap measure)

I was wishing the original add-on popped the comments on-screen instead of having to always check the timeline bar thing. Glad this fork exists, thanks!

thank you for your kind words! right now on-screen comments are only shown at the top left and size don't change when normal/full-screen/miniplayer
