So, I don't really think it's one star, but I'm out of ways to get an answer. I don't see anyother way to contact the dev besides logging into their GitHub page, where the same question was asked by another user last year, with no reply.
In the support documention, it says that you can mouse over the "tab action button" to find out why a tab isn't being discarded. Where is this button? What does it look like?
Please answer; the extention used to work well for me, and now it isn't working and I can't even troubleshoot why.

Generally run about 15 tabs, with many known for eating ram (e.g., voice.google.com). On average, app will reduce consumed amount of ram from 5 gb, down to 2 gb if all tabs are asleep "aka discarded". very much worth it.

- I've only used this extension for 5 minutes and I already love it! Surprisingly, it still works, despite that the last update was 4 years ago. I installed it only because of this option: "Allows for the forced discarding of specified hostnames". And it works better than expected! It doesn't allow opening tabs leading to a specific site. Not just "open and then autoclose the tab", as I thought it would. It plain and simple doesn't allow the tab to be created! <3
