yazan: Le Roux Jacques, 5 yıl önceI use Win7, Firefox 56.0.2 64 bits (please don't ask why). I must say that I use Dark reader for a long time and was quite happy (5 stars) until Version 4.9.35.
The (latest) version (4.9.37.1) does not work either on Win7+Firefox 56.0.2 64 bits (sorry I need this config). It displays "loading in progress ..." (or something like that) and that's it.
Uninstalled and replaced by the previous version (4.9.34) (thanks to https://addons.mozilla.org/fr/firefox/addon/darkreader/versions/) works. Except that on the next load the automatic extensions update replaces it by the (last ) version. For now I have removed the automatic extensions update, not a big deal, rare are the extensions that update w/ my config ;)
All works properly now \o/ I just stopped to upgrade above 4.9.34.

Protects you from flashbangs from sites
Although it doesn't work on some sites - 5 üzerinden 5 puanyazan: Haconus, 2 gün önce

- 5 üzerinden 2 puanyazan: Daineic, 3 gün önceI've used Dark Reader for YEARS but I'm finally throwing in the towel. At least on Firefox, this extension will lag your browser to death. I spent a whole week trying to trial and error what extensions were causing such huge memory usage issues and constantly causing sites to lag. I figured it was something like ublock, canvas blocker, or chrome mask. Nope. Everything lead back to Dark Reader.
This extension has helped with my eye-strain issues so much. I seriously hate to get rid of it but I can no longer look over the performance issues. Please, figure out a way to make this extension lighter or at least a stripped back version. I would love to come back and write a nicer review. For now, I will be using Stylus and simply grabbing user dark themes where I can. - 5 üzerinden 5 puanyazan: Firefox kullanıcısı 20186780, 4 gün önce

This extension made giant strides since a few years ago; I almost don't need to disable it to unbreak sites. The performance could have been better, though.
