yazan: Justin, 6 yıl önceOverall it's a good extension but I've had trouble getting my tabs back twice now. This ext would get 5 stars if there was the option to export automatically. As a developer, I don't see why this would be a difficult feature to add. After the first time, I started exporting my tabs periodically so if I did lose any then I probably could remember the most important links from recent memory. This time I lost all my tabs and the icon disappeared. From reading the reviews, I'm far from alone.
To restore my tabs I found a review with instructions. Go to ~/.mozilla/firefox/2tz4pwhp.default/extensions or a similar path in the Files GUI then double-click on a file called extension@one-tab.com.xpi . This opened up onetab, restored my lost tabs, and fixed the missing icon in my browser after giving permissions in the oneTab pop up in my browser and refreshing my OneTab open tab. I am using Ubuntu 18.04 LTS and Firefox 80.0.1 (64 bit). Hope this helps.
Update: This only fixed the problem temporarily. I had to follow the steps again after restarting my computer. An easier step, as was already mentioned in some reviews, is to simply go to Add-Ons in Open Menu (top right corner) and then disable OneTab by clicking the white circle in the blue oval. Click it again to enable OneTab and it should be working again.

gönderilme: 6 yıl önceHi, sorry about this. We've been working with Mozilla all morning to resolve this. Mozilla have confirmed it was due to a bug in Firefox (related to extension permissions downgrades).
To fix OneTab, just go to “about:addons” in your Firefox address bar, click the ‘cog’ icon in the top right, and click ‘Check for updates’. This will upgrade you to OneTab v1.39, which fixes the issue.

- I've been using OneTab daily for a long time without a problem, however since the last couple of updates I've experienced a complete wipeout of all my saved tabs twice. It seems that every time that the extension is updated, all saved tabs get wiped.
Many other users are reporting the exact same issue, however the response from the development team so far has been denial, blaming users, firefox, privacy software, etc.
Clearly something is broken, be cautious when using this extension and make sure to backup your tabs regularly (specially before applying updates). Geliştiricinin yanıtı
gönderilme: 2 ay önceHi, we've checked the Firefox source code, and Firefox will not evict any OneTab data due to low disk space.
The problem is probably that you are running some kind of privacy cleaner or system cleaner software which is trying to evict Firefox data, and is wiping extension data (including OneTab) at the same time. Once it is activated there is noway to get back to your original tab layout unless you have backed up Firefox! I was able to get it back because I also using Simple Tag Groups and was able to restore over 1600 tabs using the Simple Tab Groups backup/restore.

By default, if you use Firefox tab groups, then each tab group will be stored separately, and can be restored separately.

gönderilme: 2 ay önceI'm sorry this happened. The problem isn't Firefox, it's software such as privacy cleaners, or disk corruptions, that can corrupt Firefox's data stores.
The solution is to either ensure that your regular backup software (that keeps your files safe) also backs up your Firefox profile folder, or to use our upcoming encrypted cloud sync and backup feature.- NB! DO NOT USE THIS GARBAGE OF an addon. Yesterday received some update and today months of work is gone forever - no DB backup no nothing! It is not coded well at all!
I DID not refreshed my Firefox, neither did some kind of cleaning of the browser or Windows whatsoever.
What a f%#king shame !!!
I do not see any reason why is recommended app by Firefox, when I read that clearly I'm not the only one affected.

What happened was not a bug in OneTab. Firefox profiles can become corrupted, and then there is nothing we can do on our end.
