the only reason why I downloaded this was to have a free vpn which can change my location. you have to pay money to select which country server you use.
The default Quick connect option will connect you to the fastest available server for you. This leads to better load balancing and higher speed, which is a priority for free users. To connect to a server in a specific country of your choice, you may consider upgrading your plan.
