This is a very good. i use it daily on genealogical archives eg newspapers. This version works on FireFox 56 with check compatibility which can be found https://web.archive.org/web/20191029180454/https://legacycollector.org/firefox-addons/index.html but you need to use print screen keyboard button then paste it into an application like paint once there crop out the required bit and save. its a shame that the download link wont work perhaps you can sort this out and then it will work flawlessly. this is one of the only apps which work on genealogical archives fully. reason i am using ff56 is because there are several other addons which were not able to be ported to new ff versions

    I thought this app, by the same name as the one available on the Chrome App could record video. Evidently, all you can do on Firefox with it is take a still screenshot of the desired video. Useless to me.

    Awesome Screenshot captures extremely long webpages into a tiny jpg that firefox's own screenshot utility won't do. Been using it for a long time and never had any problems with it. Just wish the devs could add an option where if I left click on the extension's icon on the toolbar that the entire page would be saved to my desktop by default without displaying a page where I have to click to confirm the download, it would save a lot of time when doing major research projects

    I don't know why Firefox recommend paid addons and this one is monthly subscription something you can do for free with sharex or OBS

    Would not let me save a cropped screenshot as an image to my laptop. I had set jpg as preferred image format. Ctrl-S only had "txt" in the dialog. I want to take occasional screenshots for personal use and save them to my own system. Not share or save them to somewhere off-site, or have to sign in to some outside entity. This is useless to me.

    Perfect for quick and easy captures and rough and ready illustrations. Smooth and intuitive. Never any issue in my use for single frame captures.

    Works when others won't capture entire page, and works when others are entirely blocked by some sites. Outstanding. Thank you SO much :D
