Finally! An extension that actually works to remove the thousands of YT shorts from YT search. I download gymnastics videos on YouTube. Gymnastics videos are always getting removed by YouTube and when you try to search for gymnastics videos all you get is thousands of YT shorts. Not anymore!
I am going to send this developer $25 right now and then continue to donate monthly.
I hope there is a way to donate. If not, you need to set up a place where people can support your work!

BTW, I just installed this Add-On in Firefox for Android.
Firefox for Android finally supports all Add-Ons like it use to several years ago!

One last thing I just thought about;
To the developer
Would you consider adding a custom feature by request if I donated atleast $100 USD ?
The amount would be negotiable.

    Это расширение очень помогло мне тратить меньше времени на ютубе, особенно настройка с выключением комментариев потому что, если быть честным, они не очень-то и много добавляют к видео.

    I changed home page to subscriptions page and whenever I would search youtube.com, it loads my homepage (not subscription page) for a second and then reloads by itself and keeps reloading and reloading by itself and it just didn't stop ever. I don't know why this was happening.
    The "hide suggestions" works but it only removes the buttons, not the full bar so the top videos on the homepage get cut off by the bar.
    Aside from that its great.

    THE BEST EXTENSION. IT POSSIBLY SAVED SOOO MANY HOURS OF MY LIFE FROM GETTING DISTRACTED. One issues is that even tho extension is GREAT it need to be optimised, its eating lots of RAM. Thanks : ) (edit: please I beg youuu it's working soooo laggy on my phone, it's really unoptimized if you don't have decent device PC or phone with good CPU or ram.     It's really great, but there are two things that could be improved a bit. Firstly, when you hide the thumbnails, it also hides the progress bar that shows how much of the video you've watched. I would really like an option to keep that bar visible. Secondly, it slows YouTube down noticeably. I'm pretty fine with that and just wanted to mention it. Thanks for this add-on! (Note: I'm using this on mobile, so I'm not sure if this happens on PC.)

    This add-on honestly seemed really great when I started using it, I mean, I really appreciate the customization it gives! I'm only giving it a one-star review because it just slows down Youtube a TON.. I'd gladly use it again if it was optimized though.

    I definitely wouldn't recommend this if you intend to not make your Youtube slow.. also if the developers are seeing this, please optimize this add-on, it's the best one I've found for these things, but it just sucks when it comes to speed (also some settings just don't work for me..? not sure why, as I don't have any other add-on).

    Please update the extension here too; the version here is an year behind the version on chrome. Due to MV3 restrictions; many good extensions like uBO no longer work on chromium browsers; so many of us are having to switch to FF browser and forks. This extension being a lifeline for horrendous experience YouTube has today; would highly appreciate if you can update the extension. Again, this extension deserves a better rating; and I'd update my review in due time this extension gets updated. Thank you to the dev team.

    Really nice addon. There are some short in when you use the video search that I cant remove and it's slightly laggy, but apart from that it's nice

    It's good at what it does and has a LOT of options for customizing Youtube to your needs, but this version is behind the Chrome one and has been for some time.

    Couldn't use music.youtube while block was active on youtube, unchecking the (Access your data for sites in the *://youtube.com domain) did the trick. Please add a feature or remove the permission
