Used to be alright worked sometimes but rarely, now even if it does work it adds a watermark 1/4 of the size of the video to pay for the pro version of an extension that doesnt work half the time

    This addon advertises youtube downloads - which apparently work, but when trying to play the entire file, you´ll notice only parts of it were downloaded. Some files even end up with 1KB of data :-[
    Then you´ll get absolutely zero support !! Didn´t find any working link on their website which allows you to send them a feedback or ask for support.

    Even video downloads from other pages, for example srf.ch are showing same issues: video content only partially present after download is finished - this is crap

    Leaving a negative feedback here seems to be the only contact channel for users

    ** PLEASE STOP FEEDING THEM WITH YOUR MONEY **
    Use yt-dlp instead for Youtube Downloads
    And other free available downloaders for other sites.

    Reliable everyday helper
    I use Video DownloadHelper in Firefox on Ubuntu to download tutorial videos for offline learning (I add subtitles and translations afterwards). Over 100 downloads and it has never let me down — it detects videos on almost any page, downloads are fast, and the settings are clear. No annoying ads or popups. Highly recommended for anyone learning from online courses. Five stars!

    Was a great FREE video downloader for a long time. But now you have to pay after 1 video downloaded from youtube. Uninstalling it due to that. Will come back when they remove that crap.

    Habe ständig Downloadabbrüche und sämtliche Downloads werden nicht Vollständig Gedownloadet. Eine Wiederaufname der Downlads ist nicht möglich und wird das Fenster aus irgend ein Grund geschlossen (Update) sind sämtliche Downloadaufträge gelöscht
