This addon has been working for me without any problems until now.
When i try to search a comment it tells me "Ups, something went wrong." I tried removing and readding the addon and also restarting firefox. Neither of which was succesful. Can you help me, please?

Yes, don't worry, your Firefox browser is working correctly. Problem is, though , that
max search requests are restricted to 10 000 per day, that's restriction by YouTube API.
When limit is reached, every user will get "Ups, something went wrong".
I noticed that limit is reached almost every day(close to midnight) since last month.
In order to resolve this problem, I will try to implement proxy server as backend, as soon as possible but it will take some time to develop.

    Keeps crashing all the time, so virtually useless for 50% of search attempts

    It works as far as searching for comments goes but you cannot reply to any comments you found that way, nor jump to them in the comment section. So only about half as useful as it could be. But better than nothing, to be sure. The only reason it is even needed is because YTs comment function sucks ass.

    clunky/slow to load, but at least works, and so far it is the only one for firefox that does as of march 2024

    Funktioniert nicht. Zeigt immer die selben Kommentare an, die nichts mit der Suche zu tun haben.

    It worked really well for about a year but then recently it stopped highlighting thins and didn't narrow down comments. Sometime it just says 0 comments. Whenever I type something in and press "enter" it just brings up the comment section that i can scroll down and see.

    Always worked and sometimes it didn't work on certain videos but it was still great, but about a month ago it just stopped working (doesn't actually filter the keyword just highlights it but doesn't filter these comments just showing all the comments)
    Edit: tried to uninstall and reinstall and have the latest version, don't know how to update permissions since it only shows what permissions.
    Edit again: works again from the latest update but is working slowly

    This add-on was great until it suddenly stopped working a few days ago. It just says "Ups, something went wrong..." on every attempt now.

    Edit 12/06/2022: I uninstalled and reinstalled the add-on and now it's back! Thanks for the update.

    Ensure you have latest version of extension, I changed hosting provider since old one removed free plan.

    No longer working as of 2022/12/3. Showing "Ups Something went wrong..." on every video. Tried switching computers, networks, clearing cookies etc and no change. GitHub shows last update on 4 months ago, seems to be abandoned.
