This extension is good, but a better alternative is ScrollBlock. Along with YouTube, it works on all major social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Twitter/X, Reddit, Pinterest, Threads, and LinkedIn.

Shorts werden versteckt, aber stattdessen Contentmüll vorgeschlagen. Bei in Whatsapp geteilten Videos fehlt die Vorschau. Yt läuft deutlich langsamer.

It works but sadly makes YouTube very slow and barely usable

It simply doesn't work at all on my Firefox. On github..com..Vulpelo..hide-youtube-shorts, there is no troubleshoot info. There, it also says 'setting a timeout to not allow checking for shorts more often than a specified time'. There is no such option, there are no options whatsoever in the extension.

Unfortunately, it doesn't help.

Does absolutely nothing. All shorts are still visible, not hidden in any way whatsoever.

This thing causes a horrendous memory leak. If you need over a gig of ram to do something as simple as hide a UX feature you need to rethink your code.

Today the mainpage shorts are arrived again I think YouTube updated its UI and you should update your codes too. I rated it 1 star just for grabbing attention. Unless it very useful for me and thanks to the developer to save my time.
