I was sceptical at first, but it really works, I can now download youtube music videos that I could only download in premium subscription of youtube and I can play those videos in VLC media player. There are higher resolution download options too, that I could have had to buy a premium subscription to chose otherwise.

It works perfectly; it's fast and easy to use.
The icing on the cake, for me, would be the ability to choose a subtitle track in addition to the quality.

This page says the "Access your data for all websites" permission is optional, but after installing it, it was enabled by default?? This is really suspicious setup, whether intentionally or not. I don't need a downloader to read everything I do outside of YouTube.

Anyways, i personally found out i always go to a specific website out of habit, hence never using this extension, so no point for me keeping it

Easy and quick for my simple requirements. Seems more consistent than Downloader for some reason.

This tool is a.maz.ing, it can help you make great ''mp3player'' files, or you can save whichever podcast or program, whatever video, here on youtube ofc and can make yourself various playlists for ''net-down'' times, even if it happens on your phone after transferring the mp3files, which I primarly do mp3@256Kbps bitrate, in all perspectives a great tool for sure net-down moments, like walking, running, going to the city or another place with train i.e. where net-down is a must at least here in SLO in remote regions. FIVE Stars without hesitation!

Amazing Tool

Jesus, this extension is absolutely amazing! Virtually flawless Youtube downloads with download-quality options, to boot. Found this extension after 'Video Download Helper' failed to recognize ANY Youtube video. I will be more than happy to contribute $ to further the developer's cause.
