bugs: opacity won't do 100%, it still leaves a slight dark tint.

Open Folders as Page doesn't do anything for me.

I wish bookmarks would allow animated icons.
Folders also can't have an icon as a cover?
(use a folder as a folder, instead of a small window)
I think being able to use both would be great!
Would also be nice to have a slideshow/multiple images as background.
Video background would also be a good feature.

For the "use folder as a folder, instead of a small window" functionality, please open the settings. Then toggle the Open Folders as Page. That should be what you're looking for.

I am looking into adding some functionality for choosing a custom icon as cover for folders.
The bug you mentioned has been fixed already, will be included in the next release. Slideshows, video backgrounds, animated icons are not planned at this time.
