Can never search for a country, only quick connect works, help please?

Recaptcha for a privacy addon .. why not add in google analytics?!

I like the idea of Nordvpn as a solution but the recent update on the addon has included a recaptha, just to make the experience of having to login at every occasion even more sucky!!.. why the addon cannot remember the user is a human?.. fix it - don't just suggest reinstall.

Expect better from "the world’s #1 VPN".. the Linux experience is not as good as could be.

Похоже причина в uMatrix и возможно других блокировщиках. Но я не собираюсь отключать их! Мне важна работа uMatrix.

This is an addon for paying users, yet it now forces me to solve a captcha at every login after a browser restart.
NordVPN markets itself as privacy respecting company, but insults the intelligence of customers by utilizing a for-profit captcha with hcaptcha, a company which accepts bids for the captchas solved by users to label training data for companies, potentially a very real threat to privacy through finer grained surveillance.

Keeping an extension logged in securely is not a difficult task and nobody else so far needed a captcha to keep users logged in consistently, so why not be honest with paying customers for once?

What is with the slowly growing window when you click on the extension button? Just open the whole thing immediately. I have to click it, watch it start to grow at a painfully slow pace, scroll down in the tiny window, and then try to click "quick connect" on a moving target. I cannot think of a worse UI design.

Quite unstable and broken. Bug #1: after connecting and disconnecting, the country list just freezes. Bug #2: after some time, just stops working. TLS handshakes take an insane amount of time. The desktop application works better than this plug-in.

Complete rubbish! I have to reinstall the add-on on regular basis to make it work properly!

keep getting "429 - No Reason Phrase"

Hoax. Advertised completely free Firefox extension. When I enter login and password, it shows SUBSCRIPTION EXPIRED. After pressing RENEW SUBSRIPTION, it opens a page with paid plans. I didn't even use it before. So it's not free as advertised.

Every time I connected to any server, I lost my internet connection. I paid for this service and stopped using it after the last update. Just another wasted app.

Made an account just to complain about this addon, uninstalled then added back. Never works and just always says "something went wrong"....thanks for the beautiful description of the issue. 10/10 great help...

Rubbish extension that doesn't work. It always shows a successful connection, then craps itself a few seconds later and reports "Failed to connect. Try again later.".

When it works it's great... sadly, 4 out 5 times it either:
- complains "there is something wrong with my connection" even though I can browse normally without any VPN connection
- does not connect to anything (i.e. takes forever "connecting" just to fail in the end)
- connects but then literally blocks all possible traffic... cannot load a single page when it's on

Sorry for the rant, but here it goes.

They removed Socks and http servers for the country I used for years without notifying. So my only option to using a proxy in the browser only is this addon (without putting my whole connection over a vpn tunnel through the windows app).

Guess what, you can't pick which server you want to connect on this addon, only the country. Not only that, but disconnecting and reconnecting will connect you to the same exact server! So if the site does not work with given server, that's it, you can't select a different one from the same country.

I would rate 0 if I could, stay away guys. I have been a client of theirs for 5+ years but not anymore. Removing features overnight and forcing you to use this terrible addon is unprofessional.

July 2021: Yeah, it just stops letting me log in completely.

Barely works.

edit: More information in the litany of other complaints:
- Logs out frequently
- Speeds are super slow and unable to reset or connect to another server in this app.
- Often freezes and at a load, requires full close of all browsers to fix it
- "Failed to connect. Try again later." error for no discernible reason
- unable to select individual servers (like the desktop app) - heck, unable to see the server name to check if that server is good or bad. No way to just "connect to the next best server" if one doesn't work. You're left with disconnecting and reconnecting...
- Good lord are the speeds slow. Holy cow. Just thought I'd add that in a 2nd time.

Unfortunately the add-on does nothing. NordVPN works fine through the app itself, but not at all as an add-on.

I am getting logged out every time I restart my browser and due to broken proxy configuration I need to reinstall the extension in order to fix the connection.

BUG STILL NOT FIXED. NEED TO CONTINUOUSLY LOG INTO NORDVPN. EXTENSION IS TERRIBLE

Love the concept of it (VPN in browser without slowing down video game connection), but it's a terrible extension. Requires logging in all the time and randomly crashes. I deleted the extension for a while and just recently decided to give it another shot, and it's not better.

Extension doesn't work. It shows me error or not load any webpage.
