The must used software application in my computer system. It greatly enhances my reference library and much more.

Works really well. Captures video reliably from a wide range of sites, downloads reliably in background. Does several downloads simultaneously. Recommended.

Absolutely gorgeous addon. If it would let me start downloading automatically once media is found, that would be even nicer!

It worked wonderfully. But then I made the mistake of purchasing the upgrade, and now, most of the videos on youtube are not even recognized by the app. If you want to keep using it, use the free version. But don't waste your money by "upgrading", you will be really disappointed.

This extension should be supported by Firefox because this extension is the #1 reason for using the Firefox browser.

OK, it isn't perfect. Nothing is. Every time THE MAN changes the way they stream, this developer springs into action to fix, adapt, and get things back on track.
I especially like that Facebook now works, where I used to have to go to another site in a 3-step process to convert to a downloadable format.
And I can't say that I'm thrilled with the new interface, but I'm getting used to it and it's much easier to adjust to than going from MSO to LibreOffice.
Every time I have problems, I just wait a couple of days and it gets fixed.
This is literally the BEST video downloader in history!

Video Download Helper is my favorite add-on. I paid a small amount for the lifetime premium license for Firefox and it's been worth every penny. For the most part, VDH has worked flawlessly and it has enabled me to build a video library of performances and interviews from my areas of interest without tracking or annoying ads. Highly recommended!

depuis la mise à jour de décembre l'app détecte les vidéos mais il est impossible de les télécharger, il y a toujours une erreur. j'ai essayé en navigation privée ou non, en mode j'accepte tous les cookies ou non, avec le plus de confidentialité ou avec zéro, elle ne fonctionne jamais. scandaleux
