But it's very likely your at the mercy of the dysfunctional human blob evolution gave you. eventually you'll give up and leave it off. It's a great tool, but since it doesn't work on every site and the limited biological carrying capacity for routine in this life life you probably wont..so thank you for the add-on. but please... add a whitelist.

Stopped working for about two months.

No gimmicks easy to install easy to use and has that Mozilla professionalism

Honestly, it's a good extension to have, and I really appreciate the effort put into it. However, I find it breaks some sites, and I manually have to toggle the filter off which gets very annoying. I can also confirm at the time of writing, it breaks the AI search on Google.

I would consider this an essential extension to have. But be prepared for it to bork some websites which will require manual intervention.

Breaks Google search AI mode (gives error message "Can't generate an AI overview right now. Try again later.")

This add-on seems to work (Firefox-ESR 140) but no longer be maintained:
- On Mozilla / Add-ons / ClearURLs
- "Last updated 2 years ago (Feb 5, 2025)"
- "Write us... If have any suggestions or complaints, please contact us on GitHub." (with link to issue list)
- On GitHub / ClearURLs / issue list
- "New issue" cannot be clicked (has no hyperlink) and its tooltip says "Issue creation is restricted in this repository". So, cannot add a new issue on GitHub … Ok, let's search more on GitHub.
- On GitHub / ClearURLs
- "If you have any suggestions or complaints, please create an issue." (with link to GitLab, not GitHub 😫)
- "[…] or email us rules.support (at) clearurls.xyz (this mail will automatically create a new issue in this repo)"

- GitLab allows to create a free account, but you must give a bank account (but yeah, trust'em, it's free 😏) and a phone number. A no-solution for me.
- An e-mail sent to "rules.support (at) clearurls.xyz" gets a response "A message that you sent has not yet been delivered to one or more of its recipients after more than 72 hours". Let's try elsewhere, there must be a solution.

- No contact page linked. No site map to find where it can be.

So basically, good in the current state of the web (2025~6) but as more time passes, the worse this add-on will be.
