At 10,000 foot view it may look similar to others but when you dig into it, you find they opt you in to auto-deleting data after only 2 months, the keyboard app used on mobile uses encrypted connection back to their servers and does not pass sensitive fields back (there are options clicked by default for username, password, and few other fields to not be passed to grammarly, so they never get sent over in that manner), they do not sell your data, and there are few other good things.

"Oh, we give you free suggestions." Sure, you give 1 or 2 daily, which are immediately wasted just by trying to dismiss the prompt.
Just paste your text into Google AI, Gemini, Grok, or any other AI (or use multiple to get a consensus), and get the same service for free. Even had a better and less annoying time writing. Even Copilot was better than this. They might even suggest things you hadn't thought about. - Se valoró con 3 de 5por ok, hace 24 díasI don’t get how to disable the whole sentences correction, as it is it’s unusable half the time…

Clicking a suggestion does not change the text anymore. That is like the most basic thing it should do. I had to downgrade to an older version to get this working again. Currently using 8.899.0. More or less random older version that still works.

It always helped me out so I didn't have to reread everything again. But in the last 6 months or so, it's fixes don't even make sense. It wants me to change a word here and there that doesn't even make sense. It gives me incorrect spellings and insists my spelling is wrong, when I know it's not. I wish it were as great as it used to be, but it's gone downhill and I'll have to find something new.

Also, it seriously struggles with Gmail, and god forbid to use it in Outlook. It does not show or underline irrelevant things that you must click somewhere else to open them.
