por TheOddLia, hace 2 mesesGood integration between macOS native passwords and Firefox. It is a bit annoying that you have to enter a code every time you restart Firefox, but I suppose it's better to have that authentication than just...allowing third-party apps to access passwords when they want to. But it would be nice if Touch ID could be used for that instead (or a user PIN on Windows).

Works beautifully until the point where Mac OS Passwords automatically autolocks, and then the extension nags you endlessly to unlock it. This happens as often as the vault autolocks - I'm guessing that's 4-8 times an hour. Utter garbage. Uninstalled.

I expected access to my Apple Passwords from within Firefox's existing password management workflow. Instead, I ended up with Apple's password manager grafted onto Firefox.
The extension may be useful for users who want to abandon Firefox's password manager entirely, but it is not a true integration with Firefox.
There is also no synchronization between Firefox Password Manager and Apple Passwords. Not that I personally wanted that feature, but users expecting seamless integration should be aware of this limitation.
Ironically, the experiences with APM was actually better for me in Firefox than it is in Safari.
Disappointing. - Se valoró con 4 de 5por Usuario de Firefox 13867220, hace un mesIt works great exceptionally on Apple devices equipped with security chip. It fixes the gap of opening Passwords app separately, then copy and paste credentials or the availability of passkeys. There is one thing that should be considered is the resource hunger. The extension keep Firefox run with huge amounts of CPU and RAM.

I CANT EVEN USE IT I HAVE TO ZOOM OUT TO INPUT MY PASSWORD. IT IS BETTER TO WRITE IN A NOTEBOOK THE PASSWORD THAN USE THIS EXTENSION. WE HAVE AI GENERATING MOVIES BEFORE A PROPER PASSWORD MANAGER SYNC WITH FIREFOX WHY I HAVE TO PUT 10000 TIMES THE PASSWORD IN TO SHOW AVAILABLE PASSWORDS MAKE IT MORE FLAWLESS YOU LAZY VIBE CODERS. EVERYONE WHO S READING THIS SPAM THE CAPS AND TELL EVERYTHING YOU HATE ABOUT THIS EXTENSION. MAYBE THEY ARE FIRED AT LEAST IF NOT FIXING THIS EXTENSION. ON WINDOWS, LINUX AND MACOS THIS WORKS SO BAD. I AM SEELING MY MACBOOK BECAUSE EVEN SAFARI IS NOT IMPLEMENTING WELL THE PASSWORD MANAGER. BE MORE INTUITIVE TO NOT ANNOY THE USER. EVERYTHING IS ANNOYING ABOUT PASSWORDS MANAGER FROM USING IT ON IPHONE TO USING IT ON ANY MACHINE. CAN''T EVEN FIND A GOOD REASON TO USE ICLOUD PASSWORDS. ICLOUD SYNC IS SO BAD ALSO. IT TAKES DAYS TO SYNC SOME STUPID FOLDERS. MAKE A SYNC FOR ALSO DEV WORK NOT JUST SYNCING 2 SCREENSHOTS FROM IPHONE

- Se valoró con 2 de 5por Usuario de Firefox 19898252, hace 2 mesesWorked great until macOS 26.4...
Now, the extension prompts the user to save the login even though the login already exists. Honestly, macOS26 has been the best and the worst version ever. Steve would have been infuriated that the user interface is so broken. - Se valoró con 5 de 5por timpea, hace 2 mesesRunning MacOS 26 and it all works perfectly for me, I nearly didn't download it because of all the recent 1* reviews.
- Se valoró con 4 de 5por Usuario de Firefox 18348988, hace 3 mesesEver since Apple released macOS 24.4, this extension prompts the user to save the login even though the login already exists ! This is infuriating as Apple has released an update to the extension for Chrome based browsers that fixes this but NOTHING for Firefox! EDIT : FIXED APRIL 30 2026!
- Se valoró con 2 de 5por Martijn, hace 3 mesesIt somehow works better on Windows than it does on MacOS, including for the same reasons people are mentioning below (the login popup, or somehow treating random form items like password fields).
The addon has not been updated since December 2025, while the Chrome version has had multiple updates. And that version also seems to address these issues specifically in its updates. - Se valoró con 2 de 5por JFLyers, hace 3 mesesSame as a lot of other reviews. Everything is great except after every login a popup asks for the username to save even though that info is already there. Every login. Annoying to the point that I disabled the extension.
- Se valoró con 1 de 5por MeltingReactor, hace 3 mesesIt doesn't work on Firefox. When added for the first time it just tells you this: "The Passwords extension is not currently
available on Firefox for Windows. It is
available in Chrome and Edge."
