Works beautifully! No ads to speak of but allows an option to whitelist ads for channels you support. It's obvious that countless hours have been put into this extension. It sure beats paying for a monthly subscription just to remove annoying ads! Consider donating to the cause for this program. It can't be easy to be a developer and I just read in the programmer's update that less than 100 people have donated. A small donation vs a pricey Youtube subscription is worth it to me. Lets send some love to this programmer!

    You demonstrate the 'possible' is, in fact, achieveable. The “Can't be done!” naysayers… should just get the (bleep-ity-bleep) out of the way of the people doing it. I am grateful for this tool every time I use it... especially after a session on a device that doesn't have it's advantages. Thank you for the excellent work!

    Looks like the --main-text color option on the custom YouTube-DeepDark theme no longer modifies the color of comment text. Would be really nice if this could be fixed, as the default comment color, a bright white, looks kinda bad on DeepDark's black background.

    So this extension is AMAZING

    problems:
    there needs to be a way to get the old look of youtube back (optionally of course) such as the old player, thumbnails, square icons, etc.,
    -
    so i can hide shorts which is wonderful though the problem is I can't hide anything else like the sidebar, home page/feed, etc.,

    IF these issues are resolved I will change my rating to 5 star thx

    The desired resolution no longer works, I set it to 1440p and instead the videos start at 720p
