tested with all other add-ons disabled on latest version of firefox. text selection works for all other add-ons, but stops working when only this add-on is enabled and all other add-ons disabled.

Edit 2: 5.2.2 did not fix the issue

Edit: the only fix is when i change the shortcuts in Manage extensions.

This works great, but I think the add-on breaks the navigation and highlighting features in the search bar. I can't use ctrl + shift + arrow keys to highlight text in the search bar anymore. It works when this add-on is disabled, and doesn't work when the add-on is enabled. Can you please address this with a patch fix?

I have tested both text selection (shift + left / right arrow) and full text selection (shift + ctrl + left / right arrow), but for me it works fine with no issues on Mac and Windows.

Please try disabling your other add-ons and testing again or updating your browser to the latest version.

thanks for reporting the issue. try to update to v5.2.2
- Add-on keyboard shortcuts will not excute while focus on searchbox
- Removed Youtube Hotkey listeners while using add-on keyboard shortcuts ( Youtube shortcuts will be automatically added back after command is done )

    Bad License.

    Given the wording of the license only granting rights to use it for applications or services offered by Mozilla, this technically rules out any Firefox-based web browsers (such as Waterfox, etc.), since those are not offered by Mozilla.

    You can use it with the Firefox-based browser or download it from the Chrome Store and use it with Chrome-based browsers. No problem. It's been a while, I probably forgot to update it to be more comprehensive.

    It is possible to make it centered. But it won't be automatic. Some people don't want it centered after zooming or moving. I think it might be possible to add a button or shortcut to do this. I'm busy right now, might add it in next month's update.

    Really helpful with many portrait videos these days rotated wrong in Youtube.

    Auto rotate works well and I was surprised to notice some skeleton recognition lines when it's detecting rotation. That's kinda cool. Does it use some kind of AI recognition?

    Yes, it is AI-Based Recognition. I use a pose-related model and estimate the pose from the frame. Once I know what the pose is, I rotate the video.

    I use this extension everyday. It just does the job. Would like to support the developer if possible.
    Just wonder if the zoom level can be set with a default value? I would like to zoom out at 0,85 for all video so that subtitle is not display in video.

    I can set the default when entering the watch page/fullscreen and zoom in/out according to the desired value. But I think that's what you really want. To make the subtitles appear, try using my extension called "Youtube Subtitle Position" first. It can move the subtitle position and has an option to remember that value. If it really doesn't work, send request via "issue/suggest" button on the options page and attach a link to the screenshot of the missing subtitle. I think it's strange that the subtitles are missing.

    It is overall a good extension, even though it had a recent issue with zoom in/out, which was fixed relatively quickly.
    I like that we can select custom keyboard shortcuts, especially when some default ones haven't worked.

    Hi. Which shortcuts don't work? Is it move left, right with the keyboard? I just noticed that I didn't fix the skip 5 sec issue, I'll fix it later.

    Thank you for returning the best YouTube zoom feature for Firefox, it is very much appreciated. I'm sure any new ideas/features you come up with to include in this extension, a certain percentage of people would happily support you via the subscription. :)
