It would be nice to have the option to select translation engines like and be able to translate selected text (not just the entire page).
Thank you :) - 5 段階中 5 の評価Andrey Dyachenko によるレビュー (3年前)I was pleased that the proprietary Firefox extension for translating pages entirely exists! All other extensions for translating pages as a whole, as a rule, translate pieces of text on a page or simply redirect to Google translator, and not all pages are translated there. With this extension, I almost no longer need to go to Google Chrome in order to translate entire pages without redirecting to other pages!
Firefox team you are great Well done! Please add more support for translating pages in Georgian! - 5 段階中 1 の評価Firefox ユーザー 17579271 によるレビュー (3年前)

- Good start, but God knows why it requires access to private browsing, also it lacks many languages, for example Japanese. Isn't this Japanese character in logo? Ironic.
EDIT: Answer to developer comment: no I can't, this option is disabled for this plugin. Here is screenshot: https://imgur.com/a/R4164Vo By the way, thank you for your work on Firefox and saving us from monopoly! :)開発者の返信
投稿日時: 3年前Access to private browsing is required only if you want the extension to translate pages while browsing on private mode. You can disable it though. Please note that all translations happen locally, regardless of the browsing mode. - 5 段階中 5 の評価Andrej Shadura によるレビュー (3年前)

- This extension solves many problems better than prior translators I've tried. It's very well integrated with the Firefox browser, and could hardly be easier to use. I deeply value the fact that the translation engine is executed locally to the machine, and *not* in a cloud where user data is aggregated. And the quality of machine translation that I see, is not significantly different than Google's service.
One possible improvement might be to allow the user to choose between alternate translations of phrases or sentences.
